“Pets & Property” is a small Harpenden based business dedicated to providing high quality small animal care, looking after your cats, small caged animals, fish etc. and providing extra security for your property in your absence.

We are an ideal alternative to a boarding cattery, especially for those animals whose vaccinations are not up to date or if your trip is last minute and you have not made the necessary arrangements. From experience, we know that animals are often happier remaining in their own homes. This is especially true of cats and kittens that often get stressed by a change of routine and environment.

We offer a professional but friendly service and are happy to tailor make a service to suit your personal needs. The service is extremely flexible and can be for as little as one day or for extended periods. We take the security of your pets and property seriously, so that you can go away and be confident that your pets and property are well looked after.

David and Lisa have many years experience between them of rescuing and caring for cats. David is a retired Metropolitan Police Officer with a background in security. Our skills fully compliment the service that we offer – caring for all your pets’ needs and your property.

All details about your home and animals are strictly confidential and all visits will be made at random times in unmarked vehicles.

Please note: We do not care for dogs and advise dog owners to have dogs placed in kennels.
